HOW BILL BECOME A LAW

Procedure on how bill  become a law

1. FIRST READING:- This is the first stage of the bill. The bill is introduce, presented and read out by the house clerk.at this point the bill is printed into copies and shared to the members to study.
2. Second reading:- after the bill have been presented,the member or minister that introduce the the bill then move that the bill should be reread again in the second time.aat this stage the principle of the bill is debated and thevote is taken if the bill should be sent to the committee. If the majority support this it, the bill will move to the next stage.
3. STAGE THREE:- This is the stage where the the committee discuss more check for details of to make amendment then report it back to the house.
4. REPORT STAGE:- This is the committee reporting back to the house, stating the suggestion of the committee to improve the bill. And to further see if any member may move for amendment. 
5. THIRD READING:- This is the verbal amendment,at this stage the bill is passed or rejected.a thorough examination is done in a view in other to improve it before it becomes a law.
6.THE UPPER HOUSE:- If the bill is passed it is sent to the upper house where it passes through similar stage which it has gone through at the lower house. Any further amendment suggested by the upper house will require both houses to gently set up a committee to iron things out.
7. ASSENT:- the bill is then presented for presidential approval, after which the bill become a law.
